The Art of Climate Change
A powerful exhibition showcasing 50 pieces of student work communicating the urgent need for action on climate change.
The exhibition and workshops aimed to inspire creative approaches, enhance young creatives’ skills in design and advocacy, and contribute to the broader dialogue on youth participation in climate action and its implications for democracy.
“The Art of Climate Change” explored innovative ways for students to communicate climate impacts and solutions through visual media, and was accompanied by workshops and a panel featuring industry leaders from Edge Impact, Greenhouse Climate Tech Hub, and the Australian Museum. Bridging academia and industry, creating a platform for young voices in climate activism, and aiming to inspire positive change through art and communication. The hands-on workshops guided participants in creating climate action provocations, with potential display at Greenhouse. This approach merged theory with practice, enhancing skills and expanding professional networks in sustainability and design.
